Evacuated tube solar collectors are well suited to commercial and industrial hot water heating applications and can be an effective alternative to flat plate collectors for domestic space heating, especially in areas where it is often cloudy.

Specifications

The non-pressurized solar collector is composed of:

• -20 vacuum tubes with a diameter of 58mm and length of 1800 mm
• -Inner manifold: SUS304-2B, 0.4mm thickness
• -Outer manifold: Galvanized steel, 0.31 mm thickness
• -Insulation: Polyurethane, total 60 mm thickness, 40kg/m3 density
• -Water inlet/outlet: Stainless steel, 1″
• -Support bracket: Galvanized steel, 1.4mm thickness
